ARTIST TALK AND RECEPTION: QUANTUM FLORA, 5:00 - 7:30 PM, OLIN 104 AND IMSTUDIO, CORAM LIBRARY
Join Us for a Talk with Artists Cindy Thompson and James LaPlante, the creators of Quantum Flora, an immersive exhibition opening the same day in the IMStudio in Coram Library.
Quantum Flora is an exploration of the science of nuclear physics at the quantum scale through interaction with a large sculptural form using interactive projected generative art and musical elements.
The talk will be held in Olin 104 with a reception following in Coram's IMStudio.

The Bates Film Festival harnesses a shared love of film to promote equity and justice, facilitate productive discussions of a wide range of topical issues, and foster an appreciation for the artistry of screen media. Organized, programmed, and executed by Bates College students under the direction of a faculty member, the BFF allows students to witness, engage, and lead civic-minded conversations.
