Please join us for welcoming remarks by curators Brad Kahlhamer and Dan Mills, and performances and screenings of several video shorts by artists in the Exploding Native Inevitable exhibition. Co-sponsored by the museum and the Department of Music, the contemporary jazz performance by the Mali Obomsawin Xtet will conclude the evening.

AUDITIONS: THE GRAVEDIGGERS UNION BY BRIAN JAMES POLAK, 6-9PM, SCHAEFFER THEATRE
About the play: A colorful collection of gravediggers at a New Hampshire cemetery are suddenly at risk of losing their livelihoods when the Walmart of cemeteries opens just across the street. Faced with the possible loss of their dysfunctional but comforting existence, they do what most people would do in this circumstance, they try to buy their graveyard by putting on a play to raise money. What could go wrong?
Note: Two of the roles will be played by theater majors for their respective thesis projects.
